Derivan block printing inks

Water-based block printing ink for relief printing on to paper, with a press or by hand. For fabric printing, mix inks with with a fabric medium, allow to air dry and heat set to cure. Dries tack free (~1 hour) and waterproof overnight. A professional quality ink suitable for secondary school/art college use.

Manufactured from a water-soluble materials, these inks print with bold, opaque colours. Available in 13 colours plus a transparent extender base in 250ml tubs.

Available as:

• Individual 250ml colours.

• A starter ink set of 5 colours in 75ml tubes (white, red, yellow, phthalo blue and black).

• A starter kit of tools and an ink (50ml tub of ink, 10cm roller, lino carving tool with five blades, palette knife and double-sided relief block). 2 kinds of starter kits - Derivan and ESSDEE kits.

• A starter ink set of all 13 colours in the range in 250ml tubs.

All colours carry the AP Seal and clean up easily with soap and water. These inks have been formulated to perform better than ever and feature superior 'tack' to get the most even coverage on linoleum and synthetic printing plates. Non-toxic.
